Alpha Xi Chapter at University of Louisville

Kappa Delta

Our Officers

Emily Rich

President

After serving last year as Vice President Standards, I was so honored to be chosen this year as President! I'm excited to represent such an incredible group of women and see all of the amazing accomplishments we achieve. A few things I love are road trips, coffee, and horseback riding. For the future, I plan on becoming a doctor, but for now, I'm so happy to get to give back to my sisters!

Vice President Member Education

I'm a Sophomore who loves KD more than anything! I can’t wait to meet PC’18, and express my love for Kappa Delta’s foundations with them and show them all that our chapter has to offer. I also love playing intramurals at UofL, and I hope to one day be an event planner for the Chicago Cubs!

Leah Thompson

Vice President Membership

I'm so honored to serve as Vice President Membership this year! I fell in love with Kappa Delta as soon as I stepped through the doors. With such an overwhelming feeling of love and confidence in each other, I knew this was the home for me. Outside of KD, I'm very involved on campus in organizations such as Student Activites Board, raiseRED, etc. I LOVE to travel, all things Broadway, and I'd own every dog on the planet if I could!

Rae Mills

Vice President Operations

Hey everyone! I am an Industrial Engineering student who is currently on co-op with Norton Healthcare in downtown Louisville, but I am also serving our chapter as VP-Operations! I enjoy traveling and going to the gym and also loves serving others through Kappa Delta’s efforts for PCAA/PCAK and raiseRED which is an 18 hour dance marathon that raises money for pediatric cancer patients, families, and the research to find a cure for them. I am extremely excited to serve our chapter during this term!

Kaitlyn Goode

Vice President Community Service

I am so excited and honored to serve as Vice-President Community Service this year! My favorite part of Kappa Delta has always been getting to promote confidence by serving Prevent Child Abuse America and the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana; alongside the incredible women of the Alpha Xi chapter. A fun fact about me is that I've been skydiving and absolutely loved it!

Words can't describe how honored I am to be VP-PR for this term! I'm so grateful to be able to showcase the wonderful things our chapter does through social media and events around campus. Besides being a photography junkie and always taking pictures, you can find me at any KD event possible. I hope to one day travel around the U.S. with my best friends!

Miranda Kehl

Vice President Standards

Hi everyone! I am beyond excited to be serving as Vice President Standards this year. I love being able to support my sisters and help them in any way they need. I also cannot wait to see all the amazing things that we accomplish this year. Other than being obsessed with Kappa Delta, I love dogs! A fun fact about me is that I like to read affidavits for fun!

Allison Warnersmith

Secretary

I am a sophomore in PC 16, and was the first in my family to go greek. I joined to find a supportive group of friends to make college more enjoyable, but I found so much more than that. I was super hesitant to rush but it has turned out to be the best decision I made in college. Kappa Delta has made me a better friend, student, and woman. I am excited to give back to my chapter this year and see all the great things Alpha Xi accomplishes!

Sydney Shepherd

Vice President Finance

Already in the short two years I’ve been a member of Kappa Delta, I have far succeeded what I thought I was capable of accomplishing. Having 130+ girls supporting and pushing me forward has sent me down a path for success I never thought was possible. This confidence that I’ve gained from my sisters along with my passion for finances allows me to serve the Alpha Xi chapter effectively.

Molly Balldock

Panhellenic Delegate

After arriving at UofL this past fall, I am thrilled to jump into leadership in Kappa Delta as Panhellenic Delegate! When not busy with KD, I am involved in the McConnel Scholars Program, The College of Business Freshman Student Council as President, and Task Force Freshman. My favorite part of Kappa Delta is ritual, because it connects all Kappa Delta women in something greater than themselves. I can't wait to see what this year has in store with Pan. Delegate!
