Since our founding at the University's campus in 1928, we have worked each day to uphold our open motto, "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest." Kappa Delta inspires its members to reach their full potential by offering opportunities for leadership, personal development, academic success, community service, and above all, sisterhood.
Our chapter at the University of Louisville has been recognized on campus for many prestigious FSL awards including Outstanding Communication and Brand, Outstanding Campus Program for the Confidence Coalition, Outstanding Risk Prevention, Chapter President of the Year (Makayla Uebelhor) and Servant of the Year (Brooke Harvey.) Alongside these awards, we have come in first place for Women's Closed (Sorority) Intramurals for the past three years in a row, as well as having one of the highest GPAs on campus! Our chapter has been home to Miss Kentucky contestants, multiple winners of Miss University of Louisville, Miss Cardinal Country, Miss Wildcat County, and multiple Kentucky Derby Princesses! We take pride in our involvement outside of Kappa Delta, and we use our strengths together to foster the development of principles of leadership, philanthropy, and confidence.
